Below are pictures from different visits to the restaurant. There's also cawanmushi, soup, and rice comes free too...plus lots more which we didn't order. We hone in on the good stuff.

First up, oooh yeahhhh...sashimi, succulent, fresh sashimi, as good, if not better than Sushi Tei's, and a hundred times better than Sakae Sushi (yucks).

Brian loves salmon. (Once, we went to Sushi Tei, just him and me with Sean having fried rice, and the bill came to S$100+ cos he was swiping plates after plates of salmon sushi. Okay, I also ordered some ala-carte dishes...but after Hoshi, I don't feel like going to Sushi Tei anymore)

Appetiser.

Tori kara age.

Fried chicken wings, which the boys like.

Grilled chicken wings which we all LOVE! Must order more or you will regret.

What we call pregnant fish.

Grilled mackerel.

Tempura. There's also assorted tempura. Not so great, then again, I'm not a fan of tempura.

Grilled squids.

Teriyaki salmon.

Soft-shell crabs.

Unagi...really good, they sprinkle some cinnamon (I think) on it, surprisingly this enhances the taste.

Oooh, grilled prawns, excellent!

Grilled sirloin beef, this is soooo good too, order more, I'm not sure why but the 2nd round doesn't taste so good, maybe the chef gets fed up.

Pretty mochi, that's what these are called right?

Ice-cream for the kids. The menu only shows green tea ice-cream but ask for chocolate if your kids prefer that.
